When you choose In A Flash Images to be your photographer you can expect:

What type of photography do you do? Primarily, natural light on-location photojournalistic portrait photography for families and events. We focus on family growth events - engagements, weddings, maternity, babies and families. 

What equipment do you use? I come to each photo session with a Nikon D3100, Nikon D5300, and several lenses. I also use additional lighting, reflectors, and backdrops, a tripod and monopod if the photo session or event calls for it. 

What do I wear/how do I prepare?  A common question. Just remember, "Less is more," and when you are comfortable, your photos are stunning. We want to provide you photos that reflect you and your family in the most unique way to you. We invite you to show us your vision boards, invite us to your Pinterest page, take us on a trip to your favorite park. We want to give you photos that will be sent to family and friends, and hang on the wall for years to come as sweet memories. 

I don't like my hair/nose/stomach... Do you use Photoshop?  My goal as your photographer is to capture you and yours in the most natural, beautiful way. I will edit and produce the photos lightly and present to you photos that look like you. Don't worry, I'll coach you on standing/sitting/walking in a flattering, but comfortable way, but you will ultimately be yourself.

I want to book a session, what next? First, I'd love to meet with you for about an hour over coffee or tea, if possible, to discuss your ideas and vision (if we are a bit of a ways away from each other, we can do most of our planning via FaceTime or Skype). Each client is unique, each family has a story, and our job is to make sure we know you well enough to deliver a product that is authentic to you. From our first meeting, we will book your session, discuss details, dates, props, wardrobe, etc... 

How much do you charge? Prices vary on the package you choose for your session. Contact us and we'll go over each investment option available to find the perfect session that fits your needs. 

How many photographs do you take/provide? Every package production is different. Depending on the shoot we're doing, you can expect anywhere from 25-35 photos, or a couple hundred as a wedding calls for, so you don't miss a thing. 

How do I receive the images? The images are provided for you on a CD, USB, or through our private, password protected Client Access page. 

Our session is over, now what? We don't want to make you wait months for your photos. We pride ourselves on efficiency, you can expect to receive your photos between 2-4 weeks. 

Can you help us order albums or prints? We make ourselves available for a post-session consultation to help you select and order photos for printing and gifts. This service and the prints/gifts you order from a third party carry additional charges.

Do I need to provide my own props for the photo session? Yes. If you have a specific vision, and want to go all out Seahawks for a newborn session, or set up a tea party in the woods, we encourage you to bring your own props. Of course, if there is something we already have that we can provide, we will. 

Do you travel for photo sessions/weddings? Yes. Additional fees apply for travel beyond 25 miles.
